Developed by VoyagerX, vFlat Scan - PDF Scanner, OCR is a free-to-download business and productivity tool used for scanning text on the fly, similar to Adobe Scan and SwiftScan - PDF Document Scanner. You don’t need to invest in a scanner — given the tool’s portability, it is a must-have for every type of user: from students to professionals.
VoyagerX, vFlat Scan - PDF Scanner, OCR does not include a watermark and it’s ad-free too. However, its drawback is the text recognition limit is capped at 100 pages. You’ll have to purchase more credits or watch an ad to scan more pages.

By using it, you scan books and documents using your camera, converting them to digital text that you can share or copy. You can save scanned documents as an image, too. It also offers a text-to-speech function, perfect for users who don’t like reading walls of text on their screens.
If you’re a student, you can save all scanned papers as a PDF or TXT, great for keeping digital copies of your lecture notes. On the other hand, the tool’s Finger Removal and Color Enhancement features allow for cleaner, more professional-looking scans. It has a translator, too. However, to translate text, your device must have the Google Translate app. Otherwise, the tool will prompt you to install said app.
This scanner has a two-page scan mode that you can use to save time and energy on scanning multiple pages. When you use this mode, your device has to be positioned horizontally to capture the pages. In Settings, you can enable dark mode, adjust scan quality, change scan order, and many more. Back-up and restore functions are, thankfully, offered in the app.

With its Finger Removal and Color Enhancement options, you can produce clean scanned book pages and documents. The translation feature is a great addition as well, though unfortunately, it requires the Google Translate app. Other than that, it doesn’t have many flaws, save for the 100-page limit.
